Hello everyone. We had lots of fun learning tiny plants in the sea and how tiny plnats feed the seas. We learned big words like "Photosynthesis", "Phytoplankton", and "zooplankton". Phytoplankton is the plants in the sea and form the great invisible pasture of the sea. Half of Oxygen we breathe comes from green plants on land and the other half is from phytoplankton. We saw lots of different kinds of phytoplankton and zooplankton on the pictures and video. Just like on the land, there are food chain in the sea too. Big fish eats little fish and big fish dies and become a nutrients for little fishes. There is snow in the sea and called "Marine snow" which  is tiny flakes from living things. Marine snow is nutritious food for bacteria and oter creatures living in the sunless belly of the sea. Sun light powers winds that build treat storms and drive enormous currents that mix the water layers of the seas.
We had chance to color different kinds of fishes and made food chain.
